Well it’s important to consider every month of pregnancy is crucial and important but first 2 months will go with our health issues like vomiting, uneasiness and other personal issues so cant concentrate much on food but the third month is a right time to start a good diet, start including fresh raw vegetables and fruits to your daily meal. Reduce eating spicy foods like snacks, masala foods and even sweets. You must avoid them and replace with vegetables and fresh or dry fruits, which have great health benefits with the fibres, vitamins and minerals.
Taking fluids are very important during pregnancy. You should have at least 7 to 8 glasses of water in addition to other juices and soups.
Make a habbit of having 2 to 3 glasses of milk daily and other dairy products like yoghurt, cheese to increase your calcium needs. Milk and dairy products are rich sources of proteins that are important for maintaining your body cells and building your baby’s body cells in pregnancy time.
Dont wait for time to eat just eat whenevr you feel hungry, eat 5-6 small meals per day. Just like, have a healthy breakfast of milk and cereals, later after 2 hours eat a fruit like apple with a pot of yogurt. Follow healthy lunch that contains vegetables, some type of meat and a source of carbohydrates like boiled rice or potatoes. As an afternoon snack you can have a fresh fruit salad and for a nutritious dinner, you can have a bowl of soup with a healthy sandwich, 2-3 hours before going to bed.
Go for monthly checkup and dont neglect taking madicine which your doctor prescribed to you.
